1. Registration Process
- To apply for
passport click here
- Click on Passport Office option.
- Select your nearest passport office.
- Enter your first and middle name.
- Enter last name or sir name.
- Click on the calendar and select your date of birth.
- Enter E-Mail ID.
- Enter the login ID and check the availability of the user ID by clicking on check availability.
- Create your strong password.
- Choose a hint question and write its answer in the column below.
- Enter the captcha code and click on Register option.
- After registration, a link will be sent to your e-mail to verify your e-mail. Click on that link, enter your Gmail ID and submit.
2. Existing Login Process

- Enter your user ID in the login field and click on Continue option.
- Enter your password and fill the captcha code and click on Login.
- Click on Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-Issue of Passport.
- After reading all the instructions of the passport, click here to fill the application form.
- Select the name of your state and district.
Passport Type
- Select the type of passport you want to make. [1:Fresh 2:Re-Issue]
- What type of passport do you want to make? [1: Normal 2: Instant]
- Select booklet type. [1: 36 Page 2: 60 Page]
Applicant Details
- Enter your first and middle name in the first box.
- Enter your last or sir name in the second box.
- Select your gender. [Male/Female/Transgender]
- If someone is your second name then click on Yes option otherwise click on No.
- Select your date of birth from the calendar.
- If you were born outside India then click on Yes option.
- Enter the name of your village/locality in the place of birth.
- Select the name of the state and district.
- Select marital status.
- Select the time of residence if you are resident in India.
- If you have PAN and Voter ID card, enter its number.
- Select the type of employment.
- If any of your mother/father/husband/wife is a government servant then click on Yes option.
- Choose your highest qualification.
- If there is any identification mark on your body, write it down.
- Enter Aadhaar number if available.
- Click on T&C option and click on Save My Detail and click on Next.
Family Details
Enter the
name of your mother/father/husband/wife and click on Next option.
Present Residential Address
- If you live outside India then click on Yes.
- Enter your address inside the box.
- Write the name of your village/city/town.
- Select State.
- Enter the name of your district and police station.
- Enter Pincode, Mobile Number and E-Mail.
- If Permanent and Communication Address are same then click on Yes.
- To save your details, click on Save My Detail and click on Next option.
Emergency Contact
In case of
emergency, enter the name/mobile number and e-mail ID of another person.
Passport Details
Select other
information related to passport as applicable.
Other Details
In other
details, you have to select your personal reasons which are applicable like
whether there is any criminal case against you, whether any kind of case is
going on in the court, whether you are a defaulter from the passport office or
whether you are a refugee of any country. If not then tick as applicable.
Passport Detail Verification
The format
of your passport will be visible in it and you will also see some of your details
in it, check it and proceed further.
Self Declaration
In the
option of self declaration, you have to select the certificate of your date of
birth and address and you have to take the same documents to the passport
office at the time of verification.
Pay Fees and Book Appointment
In this you
will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1500 for a new fresh passport. And if your
passport is already made and you are renewing it, it will cost Rs 3000.
Friends, after depositing the fees, you have to book an appointment for
document verification and on the same date you have to go to the passport
office and get your documents verified. Your passport is issued only after the
